Coming Soon: Dear Earth With Love & Other Stories by Fizza Younis

Happy Friday, people! Normally, I would be writing my Friday Fiction post, but today I have a special news I wanted to share with everyone. My next book, which is a flash fiction collection, is coming on 4th Oct. These stories are remarkable because they were written during the early days of pandemic (first lockdown of 2020). Writing helped me deal with the uncertainty of the situation and I am hoping that these stories will do the same for my readers. Some of the stories in this collection, I have already shared with you guys here on my blog, but most will be new. If you decide to pick it up, I hope that you enjoy this book. It will be available with Kindle Unlimited. I am sharing some teasers and my favorite quotes from the book. Do let me know what you think of them. With Love. Review: The Rake of Hearts (A Lady to Suit #2) by Emily Windsor

Synopsis When the heart is afire... By his own admission, Lord Ernest Brook is a rake. With sapphire gaze and sinfully handsome looks, the pleasures of London have come with ease...apart from one. Ever since the gauntlet of her first wintry dismissal was thrown, the widowed Hebe Locke has stirred his deepest desires, but just what would it take to woo such a woman? Sparks will fly. Hebe Locke has vowed to never again fall for a scoundrel after her brief marriage to one left her broken and haunted. Now she finds comfort with paintbrush and canvas, but as a female artist in a male world, commissions are as rare as a ballroom without rakes. A castle of enchantment. As the heat of late summer warms the land, an ancient, moated castle plays host to a widow and a rake, both concealing passions contrary to their reputations. But as Lord Ernest awakens Hebe's desire and thaws her frozen emotions, can she hold true to her vow? Or can this rake win the one heart he yearns for? Sensual Regenc...

Review: Escaping Eleven (Eleven Trilogy #1) by Jerri Chisholm

Synopsis In Compound Eleven, the hierarchy of the floors is everything. My name is Eve Hamilton, and on my floor, we fight. Which at least is better than the bottom floor, where they toil away in misery. Only the top floor has any ease in this harsh world; they rule from their gilded offices. Because four generations ago, Earth was rendered uninhabitableā€”the sun too hot, the land too barren. Those who remained were forced underground. While not a perfect life down here, Iā€™ve learned to survive as a fighter. Except my latest match is different. Instead of someone from the circuit, my opponent is a mysterious boy from the top floor. And the look in his eyes tells me heā€™s differentā€¦ maybe even kind. Right before he kicks my ass. Still, thereā€™s something about himā€”something that says he could be my salvation... or my undoing. Because Iā€™m no longer content to just survive in Eleven. Today, I'm ready to fight for more than my next meal: I'm fighting for my freedom. And this boy may j...

Review: There's Something About Molly by Christina Hovland

Synopsis Molly Princeton hasnā€™t met the right guy. Yes, sheā€™s a dating coach. But sheā€™s also a single mom with a rocky relationship history. She may be able to help others find love, but she doesnā€™t really need it in her life. Happiness doesnā€™t require falling in love. Winning a matchmaker competition however requires being part of a couple. And darn it, she needs to win this one. Thatā€™s when she sets her sights on Gavin Frankā€”the one man she would absolutely never fall in love with. Gavin is her nemesis, her best friendā€™s ex, and yeah, okay, heā€™s sexy as sin. Heā€™s also off limits. But sheā€™s out of other options. Plus Gavin could use a fake relationship to keep his meddling mother from setting up blind dates with every available woman in the Mile High City. Thereā€™s no way heā€™d fall for Molly. None. Nada. The two quickly learn thereā€™s a thin line between hate and love, and she finds herself tipping onto the wrong side. For the first time, she doesnā€™t have all the answers. What the heck ...
