Kindle Unlimited subscribers can read it with KU any time after the release. It's coming very, very soon! She literally has everything, beauty, intellect, wealth, and an unquenchable need for the adoration her success brings her. She has unwittingly become a very dangerous person. Her life is filled with tragedies that she cleverly planned and successfully distanced herself from. All of which have fulfilled her well crafted persona of a loving caring person, and made her a very wealthy business woman, a well known philanthropist and a celebrity. She and her ilk are dispassionately driven to success, at the expense of others.  Was she a victim, ...

Review: Imperfect Strangers by David Staniforth

Synopsis How well do you know the people you see every day?  Sally hardly knows Keith. They're practically strangers until the day she smiles at him.  Would you smile so readily if you risked losing your friends?  Would you smile so readily if you risked losing your life?  Unfortunately, you can’t begin to know a person until you let them in.  Imperfect Strangers: A psychological thriller that simmers to a dark and dramatic climax. 4-Stars Review This was an interesting read. I usually like psychological thrillers and I liked this one too. But it is different from other books in some ways. First of all I loved the details about characters, which give so much insight into the way they act & secondly the way author developed his characters is outstanding. I love reading books, truthfully its rare for me to dislike a book but sometimes authors really impress me. This is one of them. I will surely be looking for more books by David Staniforth....

The Medea Complex by Rachel Florence Roberts

A deep and riveting psychological thriller set within an historical context, packed full of twists and turns, The Medea Complex explores the nature of the human psyche: what possesses us, drives us, and how love, passion, and hope for the future can drive us to insanity. "My Favourite Quotes/Lines From the Book" "I can understand you questioning the love you have for your wife, but you are wrong to hate her, Mr. Stanbury. She is ill." --- Rachel Florence Roberts , The Medea Complex "A man is rummaging amongst the flowers, shouting something incoherent about trying to find himself. He's not the only one." --- Rachel Florence Roberts , The Medea Complex "Women. Most of them are bordering on the limits of insanity at the best of times." ---...

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

"Description" Marriage can be a real killer. On a warm summer morning in North Carthage, Missouri, it is Nick and Amy Dunne’s fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick’s clever and beautiful wife disappears from their rented McMansion on the Mississippi River. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn’t doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams about the slope and shape of his wife’s head, but passages from Amy's diary reveal the alpha-girl perfectionist could have put anyone dangerously on edge. Under mounting pressure from the police and the media—as well as Amy’s fiercely doting parents—the town golden boy parades an endless series of lies, deceits, and inappropriate behavior. Nick is oddly evasive, and he’s definitely bitter—but is he really a killer? As the cops close in, every couple in town is soon wondering how well they know the one that they love. With his twin sister, Margo, at his side, Ni...
