But she makes it quite clear that there will be no funny business. Spending a week on a cruise ship full of humans while sleeping close to his sexy next-door neighbor sounds like a helluva bad idea to vampire Noah Thorpe. But his friends need time to get him out of a shotgun wedding—a vampire bonding that will tie his fate to a female vampire he's never met. And Alice's offer comes at just the right time. What could possibly go wrong? "Review"  This book is not the usual vampire story which is I think a positive point but it isn't anything exceptional either. It is just a nice and interesting s

"Description" Elise had no idea when she came home that day that she'd end up mated to a complete stranger. A new Alpha and the need for an alliance between packs have made her a pawn. "My Favourite Quotes From the Book"    “You know, Elise, sometimes our lives have moments of great disappointment. It's difficult at the time, but we have to move beyond.” ― Nicky Charles, The Mating “...pushing through her own feeling of panic to find what Kane was trying to communicate to her. It was a bit of a jumble and she strained to make sense of it, finally grasping a repeated thread: I love you. Be ready.” ― Nicky Charles, The Mating ".... its always the quite ones you should watch out for." ― Nicky Charles, The Mating "Review" As a daughter of an Alpha, Elise had always known that she might have to mate for political reasons rather than love but still she ha

Love Hate by Ruth Houston

"Description" OK, I admit it. I'm in love with him... my Mum's best friend's son! Bad right? Worse. He's come to stay at my house for an entire month! And it doesn't help that he's an arrogant ass or the fact that my stepsister wants him too... Save me? "Review" This was the most ridiculous book I've ever read in my entire life. Characters are so bad that instead of liking them I hated them. I had high hopes for this one although the description doesn't tell you much but still it sounded like a good book, unfortunately it turned out to be a total waste of time. After reading the whole thing I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry at the far-fetched totally unrealistic plot ever written. So I know that this was a fiction and fantasy where writers have every right to bend the realities but at least they "sound" realistic unlike this book. It was all bad though, it started out quite well. We see a girl, Amber, w

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

Image
"Description" Marriage can be a real killer. On a warm summer morning in North Carthage, Missouri, it is Nick and Amy Dunne’s fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick’s clever and beautiful wife disappears from their rented McMansion on the Mississippi River. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn’t doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams about the slope and shape of his wife’s head, but passages from Amy's diary reveal the alpha-girl perfectionist could have put anyone dangerously on edge. Under mounting pressure from the police and the media—as well as Amy’s fiercely doting parents—the town golden boy parades an endless series of lies, deceits, and inappropriate behavior. Nick is oddly evasive, and he’s definitely bitter—but is he really a killer? As the cops close in, every couple in town is soon wondering how well they know the one that they love. With his twin sister, Margo, at his side, Ni

Harry Potter Series by J. K. Rowling

Image
The Harry Potter series include seven most amazing books you will ever read. There is not much one can say about the series at this point but I couldn't help review it for my blog. This is the fantasy story which takes you to the world full of magic and wonder. It is so well written that the characters come to life and you can't help but go through with what they are going through. It is bedazzling, mesmerising and fascinating tale of witchcraft and wizardry. An entire world hidden from human eyes, for the time being you will believe it too. Although it has been a few years since I read these books and my memory might be a little rusty but I'll try my best to convince you to read them if you haven't already ;) The story began with a tragedy, a boy being orphaned and sent to live with his aunt and her family who basically don't want anything to do with "his kind" but are forced to take care of the child by Hogwarts headmaster, Dumbledore. There he is b

But between figuring that out and Megan's showdown with the men, they may discover that some things are meant to be. And love may be one of them. "Review"  It was yet another extremely enjoyable book. Ted and Megan travelled back in time to 1898 purely my accident. They had no idea where they were but they knew that it was best to stick together. Forced to marry, they somehow managed to tolerate each other and kept trying to find a way to go back to their

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

Image
"Description" "It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife." So begins Pride and Prejudice , Jane Austen's witty comedy of manners--one of the most popular novels of all time--that features splendidly civilised sparring between the proud Mr. Darcy and the prejudiced Elizabeth Bennet as they play out their spirited courtship in a series of eighteenth-century drawing-room intrigues. Renowned literary critic and historian George Saintsbury in 1894 declared it the "most perfect, the most characteristic, the most eminently quintessential of its author's works," and Eudora Welty in the twentieth century described it as "irresistible and as nearly flawless as any fiction could be." "My Favourite Quotes from the Book" “I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of any thing than of a book! -- When I have a
