"Review"
It
was yet another extremely enjoyable book. Ted and Megan travelled back
in time to 1898 purely my accident. They had no idea where they were but
they knew that it was best to stick together. Forced to marry, they
somehow managed to tolerate each other and kept trying to find a way to
go back to their own time.
As
far as historical romance goes this one is also based on time travel
which in my point to view makes it even more enjoyable and fun. I liked
Ted the best. He was understanding and hardworking fellow, who accepted
their new situation pretty easily. In fact he found that 1800s was more
to his liking. He had nothing back home and he was more than happy to
build his new life "here" with Megan.
But
Megan wasn't happy. She didn't like wearing too much clothes or doing
all the house work plus she was a terrible cook. In the end though she
realised that it was the perfect balance and they were meant to be
together in the past as they had history to make.
Secondary characters are also very likable and the book is warm and well written.
