"Review"

Pride and Prejudice is one of my most favourite classic romance novels. It is, in my point of view, Jane Austen's master piece. The character of Elizabeth Bennet (Lizzy) is the wittiest, most lovable fiction character ever created by any author. 

She is second eldest of the five Bennet sisters. She is stubborn, courageous and never fails to speak up her mind. Mr. Darcy  on the other hand is the haughty young gentleman who considered Lizzy headstrong but still ended up falling in love with her. Their relationship develops from mutual disliking to utter love and regard for each other.

Another one of my favourite characters from this book is Mr. Collins, the self-righteous cousin. The story revolves around the five sisters and their mother's ambition to see them all wed and settled before long. Her disastrous matchmaking skills lead to one after the other unfortunate incidents but in the end all is well.

It is one of the most humorous romantic comedy I had the good fortune to read, also the book that made me fall in love with classic literature.
