"Description"
When Avery Shawās heart
is shattered by her life-long best friend, she chooses to deal with it
the only way she knows howāscientifically.
The state science fair is coming up and Avery decides to use her broken heart as the topic of her experiment. Sheās going to find the cure. By forcing herself to experience the seven stages of grief through a series of social tests, she believes she will be able to get over Aiden Kennedy and make herself ready to love again. But she canāt do this experiment alone, and her partner (ex partner!) is the one who broke her heart.
Avery finds the solution to her troubles in the form of Aidenās older brother Grayson. The gorgeous womanizer is about to be kicked off the school basketball team for failing physics. Heās in need of a good tutor and some serious extra credit. But when Avery recruits the lovable Grayson to be her āobjective outside observer,ā she gets a whole lot more than she bargained for, because Grayson has a theory of his own: Avery doesnāt need to grieve. She needs to live. And if thereās one thing Grayson Kennedy is good at, itās living life to the fullest.

āI was scared for her, which was kind of a new feeling for me because I never really pay that much
attention to anyone. Aves was just so destroyed after New Yearās Eve that I couldnāt help myself. I
was either stepping up as the role of overprotective big brother, or Iād developed an impossible crush and was pissed off that someone dared hurt my woman. I had no idea which it was."

"Review"
It is a beautifully written story that you will not be able to put down once you have started it. It will make you laugh and brightens up your day. That's exactly what it did for me.
Avery was heartbroken because her childhood friend has decided that they should take a break from each other. Avery had always hoped that some day they could be more than friends but now Aiden was going out with another girl and what more he wasn't even willing to be her friend any longer.
That was what gave rise to her experiment idea. She will get over her heartbreak and make a scientific study out of her experience. Her hypothesis was that one must go through seven stages of grief before one could get over one's devastation. and accordingly she had to go through these seven stages as well. That decided now she needed a new partner because Aiden was her partner but now he had broken her heart.
Aiden's older brother Grayson is in need of extra credit and who better to help Avery in her experiment than an impartial observer like Grayson but in the end it turned out that he wasn't as impartial as he seemed to be at first.
It is the sweetest and cutest love story I've read in a while. I read it on my friend's recommendation and it was really worth it.
