"Review"
As a daughter of an Alpha, Elise had always known that she might have to mate for political reasons rather than love but still she had hoped that she could be able to choose her own mate as there was no talk of any alliance with any other pack. She had grown up without a mother and as a youngest of Alpha's pup had spent a sheltered life.
Bryan was her childhood friend and they have grown up together. They knew each other well and Bryan was planning to ask her father for his permission to mate her but all of a sudden the decision was made. She was mated to the new Alpha of another pack and now for the good of her people she must make it work.
Kane had become Alpha of his pack after their Alpha, Zack, died in an accident. His pack was his family and their territory meant everything to him. He would do anything to keep them safe. He didn't know Elise prior to their mating but he was also determined to make their relationship work even if there wasn't any love involved but then things started to get wrong. One of the pack member was shot at. There was an oil spill and his brother might be behind all this.
In her new pack Elise was happy but they really needed to solve all the mysteries surrounding them before anyone got killed or worse, they might be forced to leave  the territory all together.
It is a remarkably good book, which a perfect blend of romance, mystery, suspense, intrigue and action. These werewolves have been living peacefully for many years and to continue to survive there old laws must hold. It was the way of the Lycans. If you enjoy paranormal romance this book is for you.
