"Review"
The story is a little confusing in the beginning as we are introduced to all the locals of Thunder Point. As we get to know them and have an insight to their stories things start to get better. As it is the first book of the series so it was to be expected. Hopefully this will not be the issue in next books.
Hank Cooper is the new comer. He came to oversee his friend's estate. His friend died suddenly and it seems that he might not have died by accident but murdered although there was not enough evidence neither was any possible motive behind it. But there is definitely some mystery there and as Hank stays on and tries to solve it things get quite intense. He also got involved with Sarah and start thinking of giving up his wandering ways and settle down.
All the secondary characters are good as well and this makes the book more interesting. Things did get a little dull half way through but the story picked up soon and ending was good. Robyn Carr has a unique writing style which is very entertaining but not everyone's cup of tea.
