Wife by Wednesday (The Weekday Brides #1) by Catherine Baybee

"Description"

Blake Harrison:
Rich, titled, and charming…and in need of a wife by Wednesday. Blake turns to Sam Elliot, who isn’t the businessman he expected. Instead, Blake is faced with Samantha Elliot, beautiful and feisty with a voice men call 1-900 numbers to hear.

Samantha Elliot:
Owner of matchmaking firm Alliance and not on the marital menu…that is, until Blake offers her ten million dollars for a one-year contract. And there’s nothing indecent about this proposal. The money will really help with her family’s medical bills. All Samantha will need to do is keep her attraction to her new husband to herself and avoid his bed.

But Blake’s toe-curling kisses and sexy charm prove too difficult for Sam to resist. It was a marriage contract that planned for everything…except falling in love.

"My Favourite Quotes from the Book"

"Women are emotional creatures."
---Catherine Bybee, Wife by Wednesday

"Kissing will be the easy part," he said over her opened lips. "Pulling back will prove much harder."
---Catherine Bybee, Wife by Wednesday

"I'm short, in case you haven't noticed. I need heels to see how the rest of you live."
"You're not short."
"Vertically challenged then."
"I wouldn't change anything about you."

"Review"

Blake is in need of a wife ASAP. Someone who is not mercenary and has no interest in his wealth or title. Sam runs a company which provides wives for just such people. She was efficient and very professional. They meet and Blake decided that instead of three candidates Sam has suggested, she herself was the best for this job.
Sam has no intention of ever trusting any man again, she was not looking for romance so it seemed foolish to refuse to Blake's proposal or proposition more accurately. So they are married by Wednesday and hence the story begins....
Like every married couple they face challenges and deal with them because "things can get sucky" sometimes but you don't run from them if its worth it. Sam have to deal with Blake's ex "the Viper" and Blake must fight his as well as Sam's demons from the past to make their future problem free.
This book was a delightful read, like a fairytale coming to life. It has a nice plot, lovely story line and is very well written. Yes, its sappy and ending is what one would predict but still it will warm your heart.
