This was an interesting read. I usually like psychological thrillers and I liked this one too. But it is different from other books in some ways. First of all I loved the details about characters, which give so much insight into the way they act & secondly the way author developed his characters is outstanding. I love reading books, truthfully its rare for me to dislike a book but sometimes authors really impress me. This is one of them. I will surely be looking for more books by David Staniforth. 

The book is written in an interesting way. It builds up slowly but climax is no less thrilling. Keith is a socially inept person who has no idea how to interact with people. Sally works at the same place where Keith is a night guard. He wants to be romantically involved with her. He tries to woo her in his own way but clearly they are not working. At many times I felt sorry for Keith with the kind of mother he had no wonder he had such serious issues. The scenes where he thinks about his mother are truly sad. People didn't make things any better for this socially-awkward-somewhat-pathetic-soul. This book will make you question a lot of things from your day to day life. As with most good thrillers the end does leave one wanting for more. Just reading the synopsis I knew I'd love it and I was not wrong at all. A must read for lovers of psychological thrillers!
