Review: Pretty Smart Girls by Shae Ross

Pretty Smart Girls (Entangled Embrace)

Synopsis

Team Ryan
Ryan Rose and her fellow Spartans are finalists in a high-profile entrepreneurial competition. They're competing for life-changing money and for their futures. They have a solid plan to win. All they need to do is trounce the competition: rich frat boys from an archrival university. Easy, right?

Team Jett
Jett Trebuchet's first mistake was not realizing that Ryan and her friends were the competition. His second was expressing his unabashed confidence in his teamā€™s ability to win. After all, everyone knows the only thing MSU does better than U of M is produce beautiful, easy womenā€¦oh, and he almost forgot to say ā€œdumb.ā€ And boy, does his team pay forthat one.

Game On
As each side tries to game the other, something else seems to be getting in the wayā€”attraction. Now Ryan and Jett must keep their teams from getting distracted by the opposite sex...and each other. All is not fair in love and war when it comes to winning this game.

4-Stars Review

The story is about two teams, one competition. Ryan and her friends have entered into a corporate competition which will earn them much needed money and also a contract with the firm hosting it. Three girls really need to win this competition. They are all brilliant and more than deserve this chance.

Jett and his friends have also entered into the competition. All three guys come from rich families and apparently do not need to win this competition. At least that is what the girls thought when they first met them. Similarly guys also made some presumptions about their rivals. Things started badly and then the rivalry between both teams kept increasing especially because Ryan and Jett were taking things pretty personally.

Both were attracted to each other as well. It was very difficult for them to not act upon this attraction. There are some LOL moments in the book and some very irritating scenes between Ryan and Jett. Sometimes both acted like children rather than grown people. But all in all it was an interesting read. i will recommend it to all romance lovers, especially people who love romance between nemesis/rivals.
