Synopsis
Sometimes the biggest risk is playing it safe…Gen Richards is tired of living down to her family’s expectation of the helpless blind girl. Resurrecting her high-school bucket list that begins with “kiss a total stranger” seems just the thing until she finds herself in a panty-melting lip lock with her big brother’s best friend.
Chance Anderson thrives on adrenaline, but Genny’s the one risk he’s not willing to take. His recklessness a decade ago landed her in the hospital and ejected him from her life. He’s bad for her and everyone knows it—especially her big brother.
Chance reluctantly helps Gen complete her bucket list in order to keep her out of trouble. Running through a freezing fountain, playing Spin the Bottle while fending off a mad horde of stinging insects, and skinny dipping with homicidal attack swans don’t hold a candle to the real danger: falling for the one person he can never have.
5-Stars Review
Absolutely loved this story. It is such a heart warming and romantic novel, I loved it. All the characters and story line is amazing. I loved both Chance and Gen and the chemistry between them is off the chart. Some of the scenes are so well written that I read them again and again just to absorb everything. I must say it is the best book I have read this month ;)Gen is so tired of being considered helpless and invalid. She can take care of herself but her family refuses to see it this way. Especially her brother has full control over her and she just follows everything he says.... Until one day she realizes how much that is effecting her happiness. She wants to live her life to the fullest and that is exactly what she will do.
Chance has loved Genny for a long time now but because of some things he did in the past he doesn't think he is good enough for her. Her family agrees on that. Hence there he is watching her from a far but never daring to get any closer.... until one day when she decides to close the distance and walks to him. Now all bets are off, he simply cannot stay away from her any more and her family will have to deal with it.
