4-Stars Review
I've always admired Hughes work and this book was also really good. This book has lot of action, thrill and adventure in addition to a female pirate and a handsome Captain. It is quite good historical fiction. I enjoyed reading it and would like to recommend it to all historical romance lovers.
Catherine is a pirate or at least she is for the time being. In order to save her family she needs something very valuable. To be able to get the cross from Captain Thomas she must lead a pirate ship. So here she is, fighting like a pirate. She captures Thomas and now all she needs is to retrieve the cross and be on her way to London. But things doesn't go as planned. Thomas refuses to give up the cross. Apparently he values it far more than Catherine has anticipated. She must torture him and make him give away its hiding place...
Thomas never thought that he'd be captured and tortured by a female pirate. She is definitely fierce and determined. But his future depends all selling the cross and he is not about to give it up so easily. soon he finds out why Catherine needs it so badly and now he is willing to help her so that they can both get what they want... The only problem is that he might not be able to keep his heart intact as he finds himself attracted to this pirate lady...
