One Night with a Stranger (Unforgettable Nights #1)

Synopsis

On the rebound from a bad breakup with Mr. Wrong, Lisa Randall does something she’s never done before: has a one night stand with a stranger she meets in a bar. As amazing as the night is, the last thing she expects is to hear from the guy again. But when one night turns into two, and then three, and then more, Lisa wonders whether her infatuation with Matt is keeping her from meeting Mr. Right, or whether a passionate one night stand can actually lead to true love.

Matt Owens has always considered himself the King of Jumping into Things Too Fast. He met his ex on a Tuesday, proposed on Saturday, and married her a month later. This time around he wants to take things slow, enjoy the moment. And the attractive woman he picked up in a bar seems to fit the bill. Lisa doesn’t even want to know his last name, let alone plan a future. But as he begins to develop feelings for her, he knows his one big secret could ruin any chance for something more.

4-Tasty-Stars

Review

It's an interesting, lighthearted, romantic, and fun to read story. I liked it. Beginning was good, story got even better after that but the ending wasn't quite perfect, overall a good reading experience although not a great one.

Lisa and Matt start as a one-night stand but then neither of them is able to stay apart. They don't want a relationship either so they decided to take one day at a time and see what happens. They have both been in bad relationships and have trust issue. Matt also have other reasons for not making any commitments.

Soon they become more serious about each other. Now they must spend time to get to know each other if they want to continue this non-relationship relationship.

The story is also about Lisa's friends. A bunch of girls who are close and spend a lot of time together. We meet them in this book and probably read about their romances in next books in the series. They are interesting characters and I hope their stories are even better than Lisa's.

The fact that story starts after Lisa and Matt have already met doesn't bother me much but I must say that the was whole situation with Matt's ex-wife and son has been explained leave something to be desired. And that's the only reason I gave it a 4 stars rating instead of 5.
