This series sounds quite interesting, I can't wait to read book 1. The prequel gives us an insight about Travis and his mother Jillian. The story seems to be full of angst and drama. I enjoyed this novella and hope same will be true for the rest of the series.

Review
This is quite an interesting read. Story revolves around Jillian and her son Travis. It's a crime fiction. Travis is accused of a crime he might or might not have committed. But it's up to Jillian to prove his innocence.
Recently divorced Jillian is on her way to stability. Finally she is at a good place. For a while things seem perfect. Her son is getting better. Then everything falls apart once again. Suddenly Travis is a murder suspect and she is at a loss. She has no idea how she will deal with everything alone. Fortunately, Travis' coach Sam is willing to help. Together Jillian and Sam must fight against all odds and prove that her son is not guilty.
Travis has no memory of what happened that night. Evidence is quite incriminating but he is almost sure that he didn't kill anyone... or may be he did... Can he really forget something like that? Worried about his mother and himself, he must find the strength to keep going and trust the system.
The story is full of suspense, and thrill. Jillian and Travis are both interesting characters. Sam isn't bad either. The mystery starts right from the beginning and will keep you on your toes until the very end. I enjoyed reading it and would recommend to all readers who enjoy a good crime fiction.
