Unlovable (The Case Files of Dr. Matilda Schmidt, Paranormal Psychologist, #1)

Synopsis

It isn’t every day a sexy demigod throws a pissed-off Cupid onto psychologist Matilda Schmidt’s couch and informs her the fate of the world depends on her ability to get him off his diapered ass and back to helping people fall in love.

Just when Matilda convinces herself she’s not hallucinating, in walks a Vegas hit man with a big gun and a bigger threat: pay back the million dollars she owes a notorious casino mogul, or wind up as fish food in Lake Mead.

Rocketing across country with a gun to her head, Matilda has a dysfunctional love-god in her laptop bag, a million dollar debt she has no knowledge of, and must convince the seductive hit man he’s snatched the wrong woman before he convinces her he might be the right man—for a night.

Can Matilda stay alive long enough to keep love from becoming history?

5-Stars Review

This books is hilarious, I loved it! Dr. Matilda Schmidt is really quirky, and fun character. And the story also include a demigod, cupid, and Vegas hit man. All of them are too funny, and will make you laugh out loud. It was such a series of such absurd events, they didn't make much sense but that is what makes it all the more fun to read. I don't think that I have ever read anything like it before. Totally worth the read...

When someone calls Dr. Schmidt claiming that he is a demigod, she doesn't believe him. Then he marched in her office with Cupid. She fears she has lost her mind. And as if things weren't strange enough, a hit man kidnaps her and took her to Vegas.

Soon she is feeling all kinds of things she has never felt before. Although in the end a lot of things were sorted out but still enough intrigue remains that I can't wait to read the next book in this funny, lighthearted, paranormal, fantasy novel.
