Review: His Fake Alien Fiancée (Out of this World, #2) by Patricia Eimer

His Fake Alien Fiancée (Out of this World, #2)

Synopsis

Princess Perripraxis not only has to find a fiancé—and fast—she’s got to find one who doesn’t mind that her “no makeup” face has green and purple scales. Otherwise, Daddy Dearest has plans that don’t include Perri’s compliance. Candidate Number One: Her sexy human best friend, Brandt.

Bartender Brandt Turner didn’t need all those years in the army to teach him never to leave a man behind. Or an alien princess in need of a pretend fiancé. If she needs someone to play the lovesick fool to convince her dad to let her stay on Earth, well then, he’ll let the world think Cupid finally took him out.

But Perri’s father has no intention of playing nice—and he’s not above cruel and unusual alien torture to make things go his way. But Brandt is willing to complete the mission…however far he has to go.

5-Delicious-Stars Review

Another 'Out of this World' novel, I loved it. This is Perri and Brandt's story. Corri and Perri are now living on Earth and both seem to be very happy. But then Perri finds out that there father is arriving soon. Now she is worried. Her father is cruel and wants her to go back with him so that he can arrange her marriage. She doesn't want that. So she lied to her father and told him that she is already engaged to a human... Now all she needs is to find a fiance.

Brandt likes Perri. She is an alien but she is smart, funny, loving, and compassionate. They've been friends since the day she arrived on Earth. She needs his help so he decides to be her fake fiance until her father leaves. Soon he realises that there is nothing fake about his love for her. But is he really worth of someone like her... an alien princess, who happens to be a genius?

It's a very entertaining read. I quite enjoyed it. Story is lighthearted and have enough twists and turns to keep readers interested. It's a must read for anyone who enjoys a good romantic comedy, that happens to be a sci-fic as well.
