Review: Code Wolf by C. D. Gorri

Synopsis

"He never thought of himself as a family man, but sometimes things changed... "

Randall Graves spends most of his time writing lines of code in his air-conditioned office at Macconwood Manor. He’d rather be alone than risk involvement of any kind. Everything was going fine, until his Alpha sends him on a forced vacation.

It's all good with Randall, as long as there's WIFI at the small, beachfront, bed and breakfast in Bloody Point, South Carolina. He could work and get some sun at the same time, but he wasn't counting on Tulla Nirvelli. The beautiful single mother owned and operated the small B &B with her seven-year old son.

Charmed by the small island and the young family, Randall finds himself enjoying his time at the Sea Mist Bed & Breakfast. When trouble starts brewing for Tulla and her son, Randall is ready to jump in, but that means revealing his secret. Will she accept the truth about him?

5-Stars Review

Is it just me or does this series keeps getting better and better with each new book. I am loving it more than ever! It's Randall & Tulla's story. Randall needs vacation, everyone can see this except him. For him his work is everything. He simply can't sit idling around. But when he was forced to take a break from work, he just had to manage somehow. Although all will be well as long as he got a working computer and wifi connection. Unfortunately for him things didn't go his way.

Tulla's new guest arrived and he wasn't anything she expected him to be. Instead of a middle aged, workaholic cliche she got a hot man. And she can't help but be attracted to him. She can't afford romantic entanglement though. Firstly, she must think about her son. Secondly, she must think about the threat hanging over their heads. May be her worrying is pointless but what if whoever is threatening her son is serious? What then?

Randall soon realises that Tulla is the one for him. His wolf has claimed the mother and the son and now he will do anything to protect them.

It's intriguing, romantic paranormal tale, which I enjoyed reading a lot.
