Review: The Gunman (The Family Creed, #3) by Shauna Allen

Synopsis

~ Five brothers, one family tragedy, untold heartache. ~

I’m big, I’m brash, I’m the enemy’s worst nightmare.
I have survived the Army, my job as a SWAT sniper, and undercover narcotics stings.
What I can’t seem to overcome is the pain inflicted upon me and my family when my baby sister disappeared off the face of the earth more than a decade ago.
A piece of my history is missing, and the only way to cope is by masking my agony behind smiles and laughter. But that’s the worst kind of lie because that demon still haunts me, and as we get closer and closer to an answer about our sister, I feel further and further away from my truth.
At least, until she stormed into my life, a whirlwind of bravado and sex-appeal.
Shiloh Grant is the truth I’ve been searching for all my life. She is the strong one. She is my hero.
But when evil comes knocking on her door, I will slay dragons and storm Hell’s gates to save her. Mark my words.
My name is Jamison Creed.
I am the Gunman.

***Reader note: This is the third of a 6-part emotional family saga series. Each story is 100% male first-person point-of-view, and while each full-length novel is guaranteed to have a complete HEA romance, their family mystery remains unsolved until the end of the series.

***Due to profanity, violence, and very strong sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

Review

It's a very exciting read. I loved that the mystery continues in this third book in Family Creed series. Jamison is just as amazing as his older brothers were. I loved it! I think it's most definitely a must read novel.

Jamison is in narcotics. It's his job to help apprehending drug dealers. His family doesn't understand what drives him but his job is very important to him. He met Shiloh during an investigation. She teaches at a school for the deaf. She is also deaf but that doesn't bother him in the least. The moment he sees her he knows she is the one. Now he needs to do is convince her to give him a chance. She is the most beautiful woman he has ever laid eyes on, she is perfect for him, and he intends to make sure she knows that...

Shiloh likes Jamison but she is also afraid. Life hasn't been easy, especially because she wasn't born deaf. Loosing her ability to hear, and then experiencing people treating her differently hasn't been easy. So when he asks her to go out her first instinct it to say no. Although, he turns out be quite persistent and now she is falling for him hard...

I am in love with this series. Each character is just perfect and the stories are always exciting, intriguing, and quite romantic. I can't wait how the rest of the books turn out to be. But if first three are any indication they will be amazing and definitely worth the read.
