Review: Talk British to Me (Wherever You Go #1) by Robin Bielman

Synopsis

I’m not being cocky when I say I get attention from millions of women. As the Dating Guy on morning radio’s top L.A. music station, it’s my job to give the single guy’s perspective on dating, love, and sex, and I’m killing it in the ratings. The best part? I have to stay single (it’s in my contract) and with a faux British accent on air, no one knows who I really am. The mystery is part of my impressive appeal.

I love my job.

I’m great at it.

I have no trouble getting a date or getting laid.

Until I meet her. Teague Watters. She’s a breath of fresh air, and I can’t stop thinking about her. As a rule, I always leave women wanting more. But this time I want more. Teague is into me, I can see it in her eyes, yet she’s playing hard to get. Well, bring it, because I’m game for the chase.

Circumstances deem I should keep my distance so I don’t hurt either one of us. But the fact is, I’m having a hard time backing off.

Because sometimes the thing you can’t have is the thing you want—and need—the most.

4.5 Stars Review

This story is adorable. I absolutely loved it and enjoyed it so much. There were many laugh-out-loud moments. And not to mention swoon-worthy romance scenes. Teague and Matteo are just perfect. I highly recommend this book if you are a fan of romantic comedies, happily-ever-afters, and lighthearted stories.

Teague is loving her life in California. The only problem is that she is struggling with her rent. But she will make it. It's her first time living alone and it will take some time for her to get her bearings. For now she is working in a coffee shop along with her best friend. Everyone here loves her favourite radio show, but the who can blame them, after all Bennett's accent is to die for. He can talk all day and no one will tire of listening to him. Also his gives best dating advice.

Matteo can't reveal that he is in fact Bennett. His contract states that he must stay single and he must date. Which is fine by him because he loves to date and has absolutely no intention of settling down any time soon. But that all changes when he meets Teague, quite by accident I must add. Now he finds himself falling for one girl and he can't even commit to her. She will soon move on and then where would he be?

For now they are pretending to be 'just friends'. Spending as much time together as possible and falling for each other more, and more every day.

It's very well-written story. I loved all the characters. Teague & Matteo, and all of their friends are amazing. It's most definitely worth the read!

P.S. I received a complimentary copy of this book via NetGalley.
