Review: Rebel by Rebecca Yarros

Synopsis
She'll defy his every expectation.

She’s Penna Carstairs.
The Renegade they call Rebel.
FMX-treme Magazine’s sexiest female athlete of the year.
There’s no rule in extreme sports she hasn’t broken,
No gender barrier she hasn’t demolished.

She’s the woman I met in a bar in Vegas.
The woman I illegally BASE jumped for.
The woman I spent one insane, incredible night with.
But now I’m screwed.
Or rather…not screwed.

Because the woman I can’t get out of my head is the one woman I can never touch again.
I’m Dr. Cruz Delgado—the youngest professor on this campus,
And Penelope Carstairs just walked into my class.

Review
The best thing about 'Rebel' is its heroine, Penna, I adore her character. I loved reading about such a vibrant and dynamic woman, who is rebellious, daring, as well as, loving and caring. Of course, I loved Cruz too. They are both perfect for each other and their story is too good to miss. So I'd definitely recommend it to all my fellow readers.

This book is very intriguing. The story starts in a way that just pulled me in and I was simply unable to put it down. Penna is going to do something very daring but now she doesn't have a partner for her stunt. That's when Cruz comes into the picture. They thought they'd never see each other again. But they thought wrong and fate has something else in mind. They are both attracted to each other. It's a forbidden romance you simply can't help but love.

This book is worth the read, with lots of twists and turns that will keep any reader interested and wanting more. I received a complimentary copy via NetGalley.
