Review: The Silencer by Shauna Allen

Synopsis
~ Five brothers, one family tragedy, untold heartache. ~

Blind rage. Cold-hearted violence. These are my mistresses.
I’m not the man they believe me to be. I’ve contented myself with surviving. Thriving on the blood of my sport. A mere shell of a man since my twin sister was ripped from my life more than a decade ago with no sign, no trace, no clues, and no closure. Half of my soul was torn from my body in the blink of an eye, leaving me to flail in the wind as I grapple with the brutal aftermath.
The only beacon of hope, the only light that has ever shone in my dismal world, has been Eden Montes—my sister’s best friend. The one girl I could never have, but have always wanted. She’s just as fractured as I am, a broken little bird, and yet she wants to fix me.
Me.
A man one breath away from breaking beyond repair.
Can we find our way? Even as my sister’s case finally finds closure? Will it be enough for both of us to find our way out of the darkness? Because the darkness is all I know, it’s where I live.
My name is Silas Creed.
I am The Silencer.

***Reader note: This is the fifth of a 6-part emotional family saga series. Each story is 100% male first-person point-of-view, and while each full-length novel is guaranteed to have a complete HEA romance, their family mystery remains unsolved until the end of the series.
***Due to profanity, violence, and very strong sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

5-Stars Review
The Family Creed is one of the best series I've read in a while. It's tragic and romantic both at the same time. And each book in the series is better than the previous. I loved all the books in this series. This one is no exception. It's the story of youngest Creed brother. Who has been touched by their family tragedy more than any one else because he didn't only loose his sister but also his best friend and the person who understood him more than even he himself could. But some how he will get through this. Now that they finally have all the answers their family will have closure. Although his heart may not survive this ordeal.

Eden is a family friend and she has faced their loss with them. She has suffered in silence, never letting any of then know how much she has been hurting. Maybe this is the time to let the past go and make a better future. But will that be a possibility for her or not is another question entirely. For now she is there for the family, hoping that would be enough.

It's a very emotional read and because of the I quite enjoyed reading it.
