Review: The Angel Trials by Michelle Madow

The Angel Trials (Dark World: The Angel Trials #1)
Synopsis

She thought magic didn’t exist. She was so, so wrong.

Raven Danvers is a typical college student… until she’s attacked by a demon on the night of her twenty-first birthday. Luckily, she’s saved by Noah—a mysterious, sexy wolf shifter who appears and disappears in the blink of an eye.

When Raven returns home, she discovers her mom has been abducted by the same demon who came after her. And who turns up at the scene of the crime again? Noah. He’s hunting the demons who are taking humans, and he’s ultimately heading to the place where Raven needs to go to save her mom—the mystical island of Avalon.

Now Raven’s tagging along on Noah’s demon hunting mission whether he wants her there or not. And he makes it no secret that his journey would be a lot easier without her dragging him down. But Raven isn’t going anywhere, so she and Noah will have to learn to work together—if they don’t kill each other first.

Review

I can feel this is going to be an amazing series. I absolutely loved this book. It's an amazing adventurous paranormal read. Raven is about to find out that shifters, vampires, witches, and even demons do exist. They are roaming the earth along humans without being discovered. But Raven's life is going to change drastically, because of these supernatural beings. She will face many challenges in order to find out the truth about her mother's kidnapping. It won't be easy but she is willing to give it her best shot.

Noah never thought he'd have to take a human with him while hunting demons, but here they are. Raven is tagging along and he is going to help her because ultimately helping her means helping himself, in fact it's helping all of humanity. It is important to stop these demons at any cost. If they want Raven for some reason then he is going to find out what that reason is, until then they are going to complete his own mission. It will be dangerous but it cannot be helped. So, now it's not just Sage and him, Raven will also be part of their adventure...

It's a very well-written novel. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, in fact it was difficult to put down once I started and read the whole book in one sitting. I'd definitely recommend it to paranormal fans.

P.S. I received a complimentary copy of this book for which I'd like to tank the author.
