BLURB
You awaken to complete darkness. Youāre blindfolded, gagged, tied to a chair, arms bound tightly behind you. Completely naked ā and completely helpless. You have no idea how you got here. Or where āhereā is.
This is just a dream, you decide.
Unable to see, you listen instead. What you hear around you is both intriguing and frightening. Other women being punished ā and pleasured.
All too soon, your own ordeal begins as three women take turns subjecting you to excruciating torment ā and orgasmic bliss.
It must be a dream.
Or is it?

CASSIDY'S BIO
Iām a longtime reader of romance, erotica, sci-fi and horror. Iāve aspired to become an author and have been working toward this for a few years. My first goal for 2018 was to actually make it happen, and with a few sixteen-hour days, I did it! My first release, Girl Talk, happened on Valentines Day 2018.
My second book, Awakening, is quite a bit darker. Although it falls under the #lesfic category, readers looking for the warm-hearted āfeel goodā atmosphere of Girl Talk wonāt find that here. Youāll travel with me into a dank BDSM dungeon where youāll endure a delicious nightmare ā all the while unsure of whether itās real, or just a dream!
Other than my sister, who is my best friend in the world, my family doesnāt know I write ā manuscripts of Girl Talk and especially, Awakening would probably not be well-received at Easter Brunch. Same holds true with the āday-jobā profession Iām in ā so I keep those circles at armās length when it comes to my writing.
When Iām not writing, I enjoy playing board and card games ā the real, physical ones. Although my sister Allison and I do play Words With Friends and I even let her win a few. I love to travel, and in May I made a trip to historic Wrigley Field to watch my beloved Marlins get trounced ā all in the name of research for another of my upcoming books. One hundred percent tax-deductible research, of course!
I also like to cook, often prompted by seeing something delicious posted on social media. Iām deathly afraid of heights and wonāt go near the railing at the mall, but Iāve actually jumped out of an airplane. So go figure.
I look forward to taking my readers on a journey!
"AWAKENING" EXCERPT
You take appraisal of your senses, beyond the feel of the rope around your arms... the steel cuffs on your ankles... You canāt see anything thanks to the blindfold, and can't speak for the ball gag secured in your mouth.
You slowly begin to realize that itās not entirely quiet. You still your breathing to listen. In the distance, you can hear other people. Talking, some shouting... and some moaning. An occasional yelp of bliss. In other words, a couple nearby is having sex. Perhaps multiple couples. Or groups...
And now, you are singling out other sounds. A dull thwack sound, accompanied by an utterance of pain and immediately followed by a cry of āone!ā Another thwack, another corresponding bellow of ātwo!ā As you listen, you realize somebody is being spanked ā probably with some sort of heavy paddle ā and is being made to count the number of blows as the paddle continues to strike its fleshy target.
As the count approaches double digits, thereās another sound, much closer. Something whistling, cutting through the air and delivering a loud, resounding CRACK! which is followed by an agonized shriek ā and then repeated. Someone is being whipped.
You wonder if youāll be next, again thinking about how naked, helpless, and vulnerable you are at the moment.
But who has brought you here? And why?
Again, you try to remind yourself this must be a dream, but youāre less than successful in convincing yourself. You shudder fearfully.
From nearby ā very nearby ā a low laugh...
