Review
I absolutely loved this book. It is a fast-paced, romantic, and entertaining story about an almost-witch and a Zodian shifter. The beginning is very good and so is the ending. All in all, it is a captivating story that you'd want to read in one sitting. For me, it was so difficult to put down the book once I started reading.
Troy is a powerful Zodiac shifter who has been brought up and trained for one purpose only; protect the Earth. That's his destiny and he has always been looking forward to it. Andrea is a witch who never learned how to cast magic. She has been running from her destiny all her life. When the two of them form a mate bond things become very interesting for both of them. Together they are far more powerful than any other shifter and witch and also they both get to live for the cause they believe in. Troy has found his destination and Andrea is no longer running from what is inevitable.
C.D. Gorri is not a new author to me. I already love her work and I think her stories are always very interesting but when she writes about witches she always makes it epic. Or perhaps it is I who enjoy a good witchy story more than any other. In any case, it is a great book, I liked it a lot, and would recommend it to all paranormal fiction fans who enjoy a good steamy romance story. It is a standalone read and also books one in what seems like a very promising story.
P.S. I received a complimentary copy of this book for which I'd like to thank the author.
