Review: Mismatched in Mayhem by L.E. Rico

Mismatched in Mayhem

Synopsis

Welcome to Mayhem, Minnesota, with its sweater-wearing cats and ultra-competitive trivia nights. Where love really does conquer all...if you’ll let it.

Walker O’Halloran is finally ready to shed her “wild child” persona. Bartending at her family’s pub, babysitting her adorable niece and nephews, and getting her degree during the day. What she doesn’t do is date--or even think about dating. Ever. Until he walks into her bar, looking like a former Mr. Quarterback of the Football Team and Student Council President all rolled into one. No, thank you.

Mason Stevens has a secret—and it prevents him from knowing if someone is truly interested in him, or just what he can do for them. Until he meets Walker. She’s the first person in ages who doesn’t recognize him, and her grouchy attitude feels like the greatest challenge of his life. And he’s ready for it.

But the more time they spend together, the more he’s desperate to come clean—it’s just never the right time. Until the paparazzi do it for him…

Review

This is such a sweet and romantic story. I absolutely loved it! Especially, both main characters are awesome. It's a must-read for all romance lovers.

Walker doesn't trust people easily and she never dates. But for some reason, she thinks that Mason is not a bad person. After much effort on his part, she decides to give him one chance. She hopes that she isn't making the biggest mistake of her life.

Mason is still not fully over the way his last relationship ended. But his life is not simple nor is it easy. he must think a hundred times before he decides to trust women. For some reason, he likes Walker instantly. There is something about her that clicks right and he is willing to do anything in his power to make her fall in love with him, just as he has fallen in love with her.

This is a very well-written contemporary romance novel. I enjoyed every minute of it and would recommend to anyone looking for a good, lighthearted romance story.

P.S. I received a complimentary copy of this book via NetGalley.
