Review

This is a short and sweet historical fiction and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It was difficult for me to put it down once I started reading. Fortunately, it's compact length so easy to read in one sitting. The story is interesting and very well-paced. I loved both the main characters and I think that it ended well too.

Hestia is ruined. She eloped with a man who hasn't married her and there is little chance that he ever would. Still, she hopes that somehow she will convince him. There is no going back for her. Now he is asking her to deceive someone and steal information. She doesn't know if she can do it or not but she must try for their better future...

Conall has faced many challenges in the past year. He has been heartbroken and desperate. He had done stupid things and ended up injured. Slowly, his life is getting better but he wants his revenge. After all, the man who ruined his happiness must be punished. When he meets the sweet Miss Hestia, things change. He is beginning to feel love again. Will he risk everything for her or is there no hope for them?

Overall, I really loved this story and I'd definitely recommend this novella to all historical fiction fans because it's worth the read.

P.S. I received a complimentary copy of this book.
