It's an interesting read, which made me laugh on various occasions. Heroine is such a delightful highlander. I loved it!

Ridley married for money, he is not happy about it but he needed it and it is, after all, common place in his society to marry women for their dowry. But Lainie is not usual woman. She doesn't want to be married to an English Lord. And now that circumstances has made her do it, she isn't ready to accept him as her husband. Ridley has no idea how to deal with her. He already feels guilty for needing her money. May be there will still be a possibility for him to give her what she wants the most... her freedom.

The more time they spend together, the more they get to know each other, the more fond of each other they grow. There is a chance that they will end up falling in love... Hopefully it won't be to late by then.

It's quite good and I think anyone who enjoys a good historical fiction will love it.
