I have always liked stories about adventures at sea. Pirates have fascinated me since I read "Peter Pan", a long time ago. So it is no surprise that I loved this book. It is quite interesting. And most importantly I liked the fact that in this story pirates are the villain, as they should be, not that I mind Pirate heroes.. ;) Another point which goes in favour of this book was the way it began.... a mysterious woman running from something or someone. I like it when there is some mystery involved, especially in the start. That helps engage my interest. The characters are all good, quite unpredictable. I loved the way they kept me second guessing everything.  Plot is nothing exceptional but definitely well executed. I found it interesting and entertaining tale of misfortunes and adventures of Charity and James.

Charity has lived with her uncle since her parents died. now her uncle arranged her marriage with someone she cannot ever imagined being married too. With no one to help her she ran away and ended up taking refuge in a Pirate's ship. James on the other hand signed up to be a pirate in hopes of finding his brother. But things did not go the way he envisioned. He finds himself in a scruple. Not only his brother wasn't on the ship but he also finds a young woman in need of his protection. Will he be able to hide her and find his brother at the same time?

The story is well worth reading. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a story which will be hard not to like.
